About the Artist

Mementocholia is the creation of artist and jeweller

Caitlin McConachie, also known as Cait Planchette. A graduate of OCAD University with a Bachelors of Design in Jewellery and Metalsmithing, and Minoring in Foundry and Mold making, as well as attending  and receiving a Diploma from the Institute of Technical Trades for Welding Technology. 

Since a young age, Caitlin has always been fascinated by the strange and a wild curiosity for the Victorian era, European Folklore and the Occult, this has reflected throughout her artwork over the years as she honed her skills within the realm of fabricating jewellery.
